About
Eric Boon is 41 years old, from Dutch descent and currently lives the town colloquially known as Italy’s most northern city, Munich. He moved there five years ago, because “the mountains are closer, the weather is better and the beer is tastier”. Eric has a university degree (drs.) in computer science, and more than 12 years of experience in software development, mainly focussed on embedded systems.
In his free time, Eric loves to drink a beer or two with his friends in one of Munichs many beer gardens, take a long walk through the nearby mountains, annoy the neighbours with his synthesizers, or fool around with his 20 year old MSX home computer. Online you can find him hang out on IRC or on the MSX Resource Center, of which he is one of the moderators.
